At the beginning of 2023, we were entrusted with rethinking the image of Château Tronquoy (Lalande). In just over a year, we successfully carried out this mission with a comprehensive communication approach, redefining the brand's universe. This included brand strategy, renaming, label redesign, and new graphic signature for packaging and communication materials.
We illustrated this transformation through beauty shots produced both in studio and on location, photo and video reports at the château, and the creation of a métier film. Additionally, we promoted this work via social media and continue to develop further supports for this new identity.
The Story
A Tronquoy, lightened of its lalande, pays tribute to its colorful founder, François Tronquoy.
A visionary in his actions and an anti-conformist at heart, it was in 1791 that François Tronquoy built one of the very first vineyards in Saint-Estèphe. Despite his fierce opposition to the 1855 classification, no one can deny today that Tronquoy possesses the essential qualities of a great wine that cultivates its singularity in a form of impertinence. From the clay-gravel terroir favoring a Merlot blend, to the recent successful implantation of Semillon and Sauvignon Gris, it's in the unexpected that Tronquoy seems to thrive.
Today, Tronquoy reveals itself in a new light: the blue color from the estate's archives, the desire to go against the tide by breaking away from convention, and finally, excellence by offering a wine of rare versatility, combining seductive youth and remarkable ageing capacity, perfectly executed and of a quality level worthy of the crus classés.
